Captiva

Islands Captiva “Captiva" - Sweet and sassy Captiva is a 9 year old Registered American Miniature Horse who was born in SW Florida.  She is very kind and gentle and loves all kinds of people. She doesn't mind if you want to dress her up as a ballerina at your birthday party!
​Captiva and her best friend Bella continue their special work in the Naples, FL area January through April!

Gillie

Gillie, whose registered name is Gilded Promise, is the tiniest girl at the farm and is 11 years old. Before coming to The Wishing Well Farm, Gillie was owned and loved by a Physical Therapist and 4-H leader who shared Gillie with children of differing abilities. Gillie is patient and willing to do anything you ask of her, and is especially fond of children.

Bella

Gentle and dainty Bella is 4 years old and is the youngest of all the horses at the farm. When she makes a visit to a pre-school, the children are quick to announce “I’m 4 years old too!!" When you approach Bella, she is happy to come and greet you with her adorable, squeaky whinny.
Bella and her best friend Captiva continue their special work in the Naples, FL area January through April!

Taurus & Cameo

Taurus and Cameo are the newest members of the herd, and also our most senior horses. Taurus, who is 26 years old, is the only boy on the property.  In his early years he was a show horse and a breeding stallion. His best pal Cameo is a gentle and curious 23 year old mare, and the two of them spent much of their senior years helping children improve their social and communication skills. With the help of The Northeast Miniature Horse Club, they found their retirement home at The Wishing Well Farm where they continue their special work with children of all ages.
