Welcome to The Wishing Well Farm!
Welcome to The Wishing Well Farm, home to three delightful “fun” therapy Miniature Horses, and occasional foster Minis from The Northeast Miniature Horse Club and Rescue. The inspiration for The Farm came from my experience as a pediatric nurse, the joy of volunteering for a therapeutic riding center and my love for horses, especially the little ones! One cannot help but smile when meeting a Miniature Horse, and their small stature and gentle personalities are a perfect combination for fun and safe activities. The farm hosts gatherings for children of all abilities, including, educational farm visits, family visits, as well as off-site visits to schools, health facilities and community events. The Wishing Well Farm also helps in the effort to re-home Miniature Horses through the Northeast Miniature Horse Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of Miniature Horses. http://www.northeastminis.info/ The Wishing Well Farm donates all proceeds from off-site and on-farm activities directly to The Northeast Miniature Horse Club and Rescue to support their important work, as well as occasionally fosters Minis waiting for their forever home. Donations for our services are made directly to the Northeast Miniature Horse Club and Rescue through their website http://www.northeastminis.info/
